What:  General Club meeting and Uniform fittings

When:  Monday Nov. 20th at 6:00 pm

Where:  Bo Manor HS Auditorium

Players should bring a copy of their birth certificate. 

If you have not registered for the the Club- please follow the below link and complete the registration steps.

Please click on the green bar below to register your player for the upcoming Club Season.

You will have the option of making a single payment of $850.00 OR making a deposit of $425.00 upon completing the registration.  The balance of $425.00 will be charged to your account on Jan. 31, 2024.

What an awesome turnout for our try-outs today.  

The coaches were impressed by all of the effort and energy that was brought to the gym today.

Our initial round of offers have been sent out.  Please remember that we will continue to make offers as vacancies become available.

We are excited to open our tryout registration and look forward to seeing you on Sunday Nov. 5th at Bo Manor HS located in Chesapeake City, MD. 

Please review the following steps to success fully register your player for their appropriate session.

1. Verify your players eligible age group through CHRVA Age Definition link below.

2.  Register through the CHRVA Membership link for a  "Limited Membership Junior Tryout- 10 days".  This will re-direct you to Sports Engine. (Once you've accepted a position with MDVBC you will be able to upgrade to a Regular Jr. Girls membership).

3. Complete the Sports Engine forms. 

IMPORTANT: 

Use your existing Sports Engine account DO NOT create a new account if you already have one- If you create a second account there will be significant delays in registering. 

If you do NOT have a Sports Engine account- create a profile and complete the online forms. SE allows the account owner (Parent/Guardian) to create multiple profiles for different household members.

4. Return to Mason Dixon Volleyball and complete the registration process.  You will need your medical insurance card to complete this process. You will be asked to select your appropriate age group during this process.

Sunday Nov. 5, 2023 at Bo Manor High School.

9:00 to 10:30 am:  12U & 14U.

11:00 am to 12:30 pm: 16U.

1:00 to 2:30 pm: 18U.

We're back and ready for another exciting club season.

The coaches and staff of MDVBC are gearing up for another great year serving players and families in Cecil and New Castle Counties.

Club try-outs will take place on Sunday Nov.  5th at Bo Manor HS in Chesapeake City.  We are finalizing our try-out times and will post those times and the registration process prior to Wed. 10/12/23.

While we are still finalizing details, we are pleased to announce that our Club Fees (Uniforms, Warm-ups, Practice fees and Tournament fees will NOT exceed  $1,000 for the season).

We continue to be the SMALL BUT MIGHTY club in the region committed to building skills, team-work and self-esteem at a reasonable cost.

EXPERIENCE

We are proud to say that we are entering our 19th season of providing an affordable option for players and parents seeking a quality club experience.

Our club was created to provide an opportunity for young women to learn the values of teamwork, cooperation and healthy competition at an affordable cost. 

The coaches of Mason Dixon have a variety of volleyball experience.  All of our coaches have several years at the Club or middle and high school levels.  A number of our coaches continue to play in adult leagues,  And we even have a couple H.S. and M.S. officials on our staff.

AFFORDABLE

Thanks to our VOLUNTEER staff we have been able to continually meet those goals.  That's not a misprint!  None of our staff receive any compensation for their efforts.  This is the primary reason we are able to offer a quality club experience at a fraction of the cost of many local clubs.

We understand that Club sports have become an expensive choice- And you as a consumer have multiple options.  We would suggest you ask all of your questions before making a commitment to any specific club.  We hope that some of the information here provides some insight into who WE are and what our goals are.

Our teams typically participate in 8 to 10 regional tournaments.  The majority of which are within a 2 hour drive of Elkton, MD or Newark, DE.

Some of our teams have opted to participate in multi-day events, such as the Irish Rumble in Lancaster, or Happy Volley at Penn State.  The decision to travel to multi-day events are left up to the individual teams.  So YOU, as a player or parent, have a voice in that process.  (These events often have additional costs, such as lodging and meals associated with them)

RETURNS

*  Eight to ten single day tournaments.

*  Practice twice per week at locations in Cecil Co. Md & New Castle Co. De.

*  Uniforms & warm-ups is INCLUDED in your club fee.  

*  Experienced coaches who are focused on developing your players skills of teamwork & cooperation.
